There has been much speculation in the local press following delays to our build programme. The local authority has now resolved all issues affecting the build and the College has begun to consult with architects, builders and other stakeholders again. We are delighted to announce that Eltham Hill’s BSF programme is back on track! We are hoping that building works will commence later this year. Highlights of the programme:
• The new building will accommodate 150 Post-16 pupils and six forms of entry for all other year groups.
• The ICT contractor has been appointed.
• The Greenwich Facilities Management contractors have also been appointed.
• The original 1920s main building will be refurbished.
• 78% of the programme will be new buildings and 22% refurbishment (approx).
• There will be a phased decant over 2.5 years, using the Eltham Hill Xtra site, to minimize disruption to teaching and learning
Ms D Ejoh, Assistant Principal and our designated BSF Champion, will be co-ordinating the project.
